Do you find it annoying when you want to watch through a video on your mobile, yet as you tilt the screen the video does not stay put? Well, below we mention a few ways you can fix this problem.

  1. Use window live movie maker:

This software used to be available by default with the older windows versions, however, it is not any more. No need to worry. You can always download it for free from the Microsoft’s website! Once you download the new movie maker for windows there are only a few steps to follow in order to help you rotate your video.

First of all, after downloading the windows movie maker, import the video that you want to rotate. In the Home Tab, you will see an option for “add videos/pictures”. Look up the video in your computer, double click on it and this will add the video in the software.

Once the video is uploaded and can be viewed in the preview section, select the option in the Home Tab and in the editing section, “rotate left/rotate right”.  Once you successfully rotate your video. Save the changes by selecting the “save movie” option which is also placed in the Home Tab. Lastly, you have the option to save your file in a format of your choice and save the video in an accessible location on your computer.

  1. Use iMovie:

Another easy way to get your work done, that is rotate your video clip, is by downloading the iMovie app from the Mac App Store. All you have to do is open iMovie App, click on the file menu, select import, next select “movies”.

Then, browse for the video file on your computer and open it. When your video appears in the preview viewer and video editing timeline, open the “crop menu” and this you can do by first selecting your video and pressing “C” on your keyboard.

You can also do this by clipping the crop button in the toolbar. After you open the crop menu, you will see rotate buttons that will appear at the top of the viewer. You can choose between left/right rotation buttons. After the video rotation appears to satisfy you, you can click the “done” button. Before saving your video file, make sure that you use the “fit” option so that you don’t crop out the edges of your video once it is rotated. Lastly, save your file.

Again, with this app you have the option of saving your video in whichever format you prefer, and save it wherever you like.
